Vanity Fair: ‘Keep On Keepin’ On’ The Best Movie You Haven’t Heard Of This Year

Documentarian Al Hicks is in the former category, as shown by his acclaimed film Keep On Keepin’ On, a charting of the friendship between jazz legends Clark Terry and Justin Kauflin. Writer Julie Miller of Vanity Fair is in the latter category.

In a glowing review for the publication, Miller directed readers’ attention towards Keep On Keepin’ On, highlighting the way that the documentary explores the nuance of friendships, and the power of music when it comes to helping us learn and grow – from both each other, and the songs that we make.
